Time Stands Still Stars Laura Linney and Alicia Silverstone to Cook with Oprah

Laura Linney and Alicia Silverstone are headed to the kitchen with Oprah. The actresses, who are currently co-starring in Manhattan Theatre Club’s Broadway production of Donald Margulies’ Time Stands Still, will appear in a taped cooking segment on the January 27 episode of The Oprah Winfrey Show. Silverstone will also discuss The Kind Diet, her New York Times best-selling guide to moving toward a vegan diet.

Time Stands Still, which stars Linney, Silverstone, Brian d’Arcy James and Eric Bogosian, is set to open on January 28 at MTC’s Samuel J. Friedman Theatre, directed by Daniel Sullivan. The play centers on Sarah (Linney) and James (James), a photographer and journalist who have been together for years and share a passion for documenting the realities of war. But when circumstances compel them to return home to New York, they confront the prospect of a more conventional life.
